Bridge Co-Working Launch Party and Open House

Bridge Storage and ArtSpace announces a free open house and launch party on Friday, September 21, 2018, to celebrate the opening of the newly completed co-working compound. The event will be held onsite at 23 Maine Avenue in Richmond, California, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

At the launch event, attendees will be able to tour the new amenities, enjoy the gallery exhibition curated by Steve Hurst, meet local arts and culture non-profits onsite at our Richmond Community Expo, enjoy food and drink served by R&R Coffee in our kiosk, view the work of local filmmakers at the mini film festival in the film studio, and get wowed by the live Taiko drumming ensemble. Please join us to raise a glass to our new venture at our formal ribbon-cutting ceremony.

Bridge opened as a storage unit rental business in 1993. In 2010 Jeff Wright and his father Jim turned a few of the units into studios for local artists. That was until the city closed the facility for code violations in 2016 after the Ghost Ship fire in 2016. Bridge has relaunched as a legal co-working space for artists and makers with the mission of reinvigorating Richmond’s growing art scene.
